Do you like money? Do you like professional development? Does your mom yell at you to get a job? If yes to any of those questions, boy do I have the video for you! I’m a graphic designer slash social media analyst for ASU football recruiting. That involves working in the field, I assume? Exactly. In the brand new facilities over there. Yep. I am a TA for one JAVA programming class. I enjoy it a lot because I can teach and help people. Well I would say student jobs are great because I feel like I’m actually a part of the movement that’s going on university-wide. I started here as an intern for the video team. Just working for ASU was such an eye opening experience. Combining my journalism skills with the marketing, and things I’ve learned here, it was just a great opportunity. I am a digital marketing coordinator and so that means that I make all the social posts, I make a lot of videos, I’m basically the voice behind Sun Devil Rewards. So I am a first-year success coach here on campus. I work with the Dean of Students office. I love it, yeah. Being able to like see students grow from the beginning of the year to the end of the year is really rewarding. They’re really flexible with my schedule and then if I need to take time off to study or for exams they’re really good about that. All the employers know that school comes first. I have to hand in my class schedules so they’ll never schedule me during class. So that works out pretty nice too. I’m a work-study at the Pat Tillman Veterans Center. You get to stay on campus so it’s easier to not do so much transportation throughout the day. I work here as a student graphic designer and what I like the most about it is the experience I’ve been gaining. I work at the ASU Art Museum. Well if you’re an art student, you get to be around artwork. And you’re kinda forced to learn about artwork. So you get like hands-on experience. Hey! So hopefully you learned something about how to get some money on campus, get a cool gig. Um, What! Here we are at my student job. Didn’t see that coming. Anyways, be sure to like and subscribe to this video, comment below any questions that you have, for future videos. This is You Asked.
