UK STUDENT VISA INFORMATION 2019. EU and Non-EU Students. How to apply | Settle In

Hello, I’m Jack from Settle In and today we’re investigating if you need a student visa to come and stay and study in the UK. Now the visa process can be an absolute pain to think about, but don’t worry it’s much easier than you think and we have simple steps to get you through it. Now if you’re from the EU, congrats, you DON’T need a visa, you can just come here right now and this applies for the following countries: and also these four countries. Now if you are not from the EU or those following countries you DO need a student visa, but don’t worry we have four simple requirements to show you how to get it done. First of all, you need a certificate of acceptance by any university in the UK, secondly, you need to prove evidence of funding for both your tuition fees and monthly living costs. Thirdly, you need to apply online with the UK Immigration Centre which is linked in the description below. Lastly, you need to pay a health surcharge fee which is separate. And that’s basically it, now it costs £348 pounds to apply for your visa outside of the UK and that is a separate price from the health surcharge, which again, differs per person. Now once you have your visa, depending on your course length; if your course is 6 months or less, you can arrive in the UK one week before hand, If your course is 6 months or over then you can arrive 1 month before your course starts. And that’s it, be sure to check out the description below for all the links mentioned in the video. I’ve been Jack, you’ve been awesome and until the next one I’ll see you soon. *awkward flossing*
