(chiming music) – When I first came to
the University of Idaho, I was introduced to you and
that was a great experience because GSSP helped me a lot
to go through all the steps in my life over here. They helped me a lot to interact with other international students and to the American community here. I was not familiarized
with the American society and community, but GSSP was the one who explained us how
things work over here. – As for me, I have a
lot of help from GSSP because the education
system is really different about registration, so I
don’t even know about things, but in GSSP, they do everything for me, so I just need show up in the
class and that’s all I needed. Yeah, I really like this. – The GSSP program drives
only international student for one year, which helps
them to be able to adjust into new surroundings and
makes them comfortable, just like home. – They teach me a lot from how to research how to professional emails, or
have cover letters & resume. Yeah, I have a lot of help from GSSP. – The highest number of people
I have in my class, like 10, which I’m happy with
because I can communicate with teachers. That’s one thing I really like
because it’s more classrooms. – Even in the class or study
or for my personal problem, they really help and when I talk when they’re really helpful,
they give some facts or tips to do it or do not. – I’m studying the ALCP
now and after that, I will go into GSSP. That’s for my master degree
about the natural resource. Actually, in ALCP, it’s not only for study the language about English, teacher in ALCP, they also
introduce you someplace in Moscow, something interesting. (lively music) – I would really recommend people to come to Moscow instead of the big cities because here you can have an
experience to be more close to Americans, experience that culture. It’s a small town. It’s safe. – As an international student in Moscow and University of Idaho, particularly, is very welcoming community. You don’t feel that you are not at home. It’s more like a family over here. People interact to you every day. You don’t feel like you are missing home. I was not at all homesick at here. The stay is very affordable here. You can stay on campus,
or you also have options to go outside and rent an apartment. You can share it with your friends. – Some international student
from different country, we can share different
experience in Moscow. We can hang out together and I can make a new friend in America. – One of my good experiences
here, it was for sure rafting. I did that with a friend
that I met in my department. It was like, hey, do
you want to go rafting? There’s this cool here
because it’s a small place and everybody knows everybody. It’s like, yeah, sure, let’s do it. – I really like Idaho because it has the most
wonderful hills over here. We just go on long drive
through all the Palouse hills. We also go for camping around by. We also do outdoor picnic. – I have those in my department. People always helping me with things. And sometimes I need to go somewhere. There’s always people offering help. I really like the University of Idaho. I really like Moscow. This place makes me happy. (calm music) – I am welcome here. – I am welcome here. – I am welcome here. – I am welcome here. – I am welcome here. (calm music)
