The Three Minute Thesis is 3 minutes,
180 seconds, 540 words. The Three Minute Thesis competition is a
competition where you have three minutes to basically explain what it is you’re
doing for your PhD or master’s project. Believe it or not over 80% of people in Sub-saharan Africa have camera phones I’m used to presenting my work in a longer format, and so trying to condense hours, months
of work into three minutes, 180 seconds is it’s it’s tough. I think the toughest
part of it is trying to stay within those three minutes which means you
can’t go in too much detail but you still have to go enough that you’re
communicating and people know what you’re trying to get across.
