Teaching Kids with Special Needs

why do this because these children know more about life than I do and I learn from them every day that I work with them about life and love and what it’s all about I’ve been teaching special-needs children just for two years I started as a TA and then I decided I can really do this thing so I did the lateral entry way of becoming a teacher and I’m taking classes and getting my license and Here I am I have the best team at led my elementary school we work well together all of us spend a lot of time getting to know the children and what their capabilities are most people look at our children and wonder what can they actually do but what I can see is every little tiny victory that they make instead or maybe it’s not a daily thing maybe it’s something that happens over three months period of time but when a student is able to say a sound that they couldn’t say three months ago or when they’re able to pick up something that they never could before or take a step that they couldn’t these are huge victories for these children and for us as teachers and that’s extremely rewarding when you see children like the children in my class look at them as children who have abilities not as children who are disabled because they all have extreme abilities and particularly abilities to love and be loved and that is what all of us are working Thank You four kids thank you for giving I love what I do
