Summer Graduation 2017: Our New Graduates
To me it’s just, like an amazing achievement. Like, when I would have, like, been fifth and sixth year at school, I just would never have thought that I would be able to graduate. Like today, I’m graduating with a first-class honours, and it’s just an amazing achievement for me and I’m really excited to, like, go ahead in what I really love doing. Graduating is such a-, yeah, it’s a ceremony, obviously, but it’s really nice to have your work recognised and have four years of your work being, yeah, celebrated. I loved my experience here at Stirling, like, it definitely made me grow up. Like, I specifically chose a uni where I didn’t know anyone so I just, kind of, forced myself into a place where I didn’t know, and it really shaped me into what I am now, basically. It’s so beautiful here. You always feel, like, welcome and safe, and I actually just think the campus life just makes it more, like, it just makes it your own experience. So yeah, that’s definitely stuck with me. I think I’ve learnt a lot at my time at Stirling University, not just through my course, but just through meeting so many different people and it’s just been a fantastic experience overall.
