Hey guys it’s me JJ. If you couldn’t tell by the title – I always
say like if you couldn’t tell by the title, it’s just the easiest way to segue into the
video. But it’s (the title) gonna say school in Brazil but this is going to be from the
moment I wake up from … the time that school is over. This is my school day in Brazil. Good morning! It’s like 5 something and I’m going to take
a shower and then eat breakfast. I have to take a shower so early because school
starts earlier and you can’t even see me right now. So yeah. And now I’m eating breakfast. Usually I always have coffee. And I usually have like toast or something
and a banana. Usually I eat by myself because it’s 6 something
in the morning so none of the rest of my family has a reason to be awake so early. Okay and then after I eat breakfast I really
just brush my teeth and put my backpack together and then I’m out of here. Um today I’m walking because my um… what’s
it called… carpool she’s not going to school today so Thayana, you’re in my heart. I’ll put a picture… this is her family. They usually take me to school but school
is winding down like this is the last week I think I’m going to school. So it’s just kind of like winding down and
there’s not really too much of a reason to go. Okay I don’t know if you can tell but I’m
wearing a t-shirt. Normally I would be wearing like a sweatshirt
or something but summer is coming. I mean right now brazilians would probably
say the temperature is really cold. But it’s perfect for me. But yeah so this is why school is ending because
it’s about to be summer break. So it’s crazy! This is my school. I wish it wasn’t so cloudy like it would look
a lot more cheerful and happy but this just looks sad. But yeah pretty cool. This is my class. There’s not that many people here yet. Here’s the front of the school. Where we go through things like this. Christmas. And then here we have stuff like this. This took a while to get used to because I
didn’t know which one to put it in. I’ve learned. Okay. Here’s the gym. As you can see. Okay so if you can’t tell, we’re all wearing
the same shirts. the uniform is a white shirt but we’re seniors. So it’s keep calm and what? Tá acabando. You’re finishing.Yes. So this is why we’re wearing this but it’s
like a uniform as well. If you can’t tell there’s a lot of parts of
the building that doesn’t have a wall. The weather can just come right through. This is a music class. I’ve never been here too many times. But they have a little dance place. Judo room. Here is the library. They have this like you can’t leave here with
a book. Where’d you guys go? Oh okay. But here’s the library. Here’s the videoteca. I’ve never seen this part before. If you wanna do research or work in a group,
you can come here and search on the computers and work in the small rooms. As you can see there’s no really like walls
like if it’s raining, it doesn’t rain inside but you can tell. And then look, there’s actual trees here and
you’ll see birds coming in and out. And then we have the cafeteria type thing. Here’s the auditorium. JJ here below is the secretary. Finance of the school. Technical assistance. Teacher’s lounge. Teachers. And then we’re back to where we started. Oh looks like that’s it guys. A full day of my life in Brazil. Okay and then before I close out this video
I first wanted to mention that this was a private school. Their parent’s paid for them to go to this
school. In Brazil private school is a lot more common
than in the US I think because you can get a better education. the public schools aren’t exactly known for
being the best source of education. So a lot of people just do private school
if they can afford it. Then i just wanted to say real quick those
are just some of the classes we have. Everyday is a different schedule. So sometimes we’ll have portuguese for two
hours or like biology. And then we also have physics and english
as another foreign language that they take. And in some of the classes that I was recording,
since it’s like one of the last few weeks of school, there wasn’t much to do. Usually in some of these classes we’re actually
like getting taught we’re not just sitting around in groups. So that’s really it. Thank you so much for watching! Please subscribe if you wanna see more videos. Have a great day. Peace out. Tchau! By the way it’s not the best idea to have
your phone out. Especially like an iPhone 7 while you’re walking
in the middle of Brazil. Don’t try this at home kids. These are the sacrifices that I’m willing
to make for my YouTube. *burping* I think that was it.
