This is my room, here is where I study and
do my homework. I’m preparing for my exams right now, I have,
I wrote computer science today and tomorrow I have English, which I’m a little bit scared about,
but then on Monday, I have science which I like a lot and then on Tuesday my final exam
is physics that I’m scared too but I’m trying to prepare during the weekend. I think I got off really easy because Jesus
is a really good kid. His parents did an amazing job with him and
preparing him for all of living away from home. Chores were a big thing for Jesus and helping
with cooking, every now and then. So I’ve been trying to get him into that more and more
since Christmas. Jesus now has a killer creamy poppy seed
salad dressing recipe. Yes, it is really good. I really enjoyed the time here with my host
family, I’m not used to having two brothers but it was a nice experience and maybe the
most remarkable moment I lived with them was when we went down to Niagara Falls. I think that was an amazing experience and
it was something that I have never seen before like that such amazing falls, so I really
remember that. Jesus has become a little bit more independent
and a little bit more assertive. He is expressing his mind a bit more, what he likes, what he
doesn’t like or if he has a plan. You know, to meet friends or he wants to go to the gym
or something. He speaks up more readily. I will remember this experience for a long
time because it has been different and I have learned a lot of things. I also have, I think, matured a lot and got
more independent and being away from home is really good in some ways, you miss home
but it teaches you a lot of stuff you wouldn’t learn otherwise. I’m going to miss them a lot and the first
month is going to be so weird in Spain.
