(chime-like piano music) – So we planned to surprise Miguel because he is the last one, he’s the baby. So we tried to surprise him. (chime-like piano music) – Three brothers. Me, myself and my older
brother are in the Navy. Unfortunately, my older
brother couldn’t come because he was doing some
work-ups with his command. But he is stationed in Virginia and I’m stationed in San Diego and my stepdad was on
deployment at that time. (chime-like piano music) (laughter) (mom speaking in Spanish) She put me in a hotel by myself and I’m like, “What is all
this? I want to go home.” She still didn’t tell me anything until that Friday, the next day. We ended up driving to she was like, “Let’s go to the airport.” I’m like, “Okay.” We ended up picking up my stepdad there, so it was another nice little surprise for me ’cause I haven’t seen
him mostly in like a year. (soothing yet upbeat music) – Guys, Conor has helped me a lot to give the surprise to Miguel. Say hey. – Happy graduation. – Yeah, thank you.
– [Conor] I’m gonna go. – It’s gonna be a big surprise for Miguel. – So me and my stepdad were hidden behind some curtains
in the cafeteria area, and they had called my brother
to the middle of the stage, saying that my mom forgot to
give him something, right? So she came with like a little – [Mom] Flag from Columbia and a lei.
– [Brother] Flag from Columbia And they had him like
facing away from us so, my mom was still talking with him and trying to distract him until like I came up and showed up first. (murmur of crowd talking) (triumphant music)
(crowd cheering) I grabbed him and you know, we hugged he was very surprised
and we started crying. It was very emotional
because I hadn’t seen him for almost a year because it
was very impossible for me. (triumphant music)
