My Westminster Story – Engy from Egypt

Hello, my name is Engy Sobieh, I’m from
Egypt and I’m going to be doing my MA in Global Media at the University of Westminster. The reason I chose the University of Westminster is because I love the programme. I also like that it’s being taught by the Communication and Media Research Institute My first impression of London was that it’s really metropolitan. So you get to see people from different backgrounds, different nationalities, which is really special. My first impression of the University was the same as London, very metropolitan. I met people from all over the world and I made friends from Italy, from Germany, from India and different countries. I did get into my accommodation, in fact, I’m in it right now, and so far so good, I really like it, it’s really nice. I’m looking forward to studying and knowing more about my course and my courses and my field, meeting more people, knowing about different cultures and being part of student clubs. If I have any advice for, you know, for
students is to do your research. Do your research about the university, about your course, about where you’re going to be staying in and yeah, that’s all.
