She’s been given one of the highest
orders of recognition for any female college
basketball player in America. But Te Aupouri girl
Moengaroa Subritzky says that it isn’t all glitz and glamour
playing ball in America. It takes sheer guts
and determination. She’s living the dream, and it’s already taken her
halfway around the world. A student at University of Maryland
– Eastern Shore, Te Aupouri and Te Rarawa
basketball extraordinaire Moengaroa Subritzky
has followed her dreams, and is reaping the benefits. She was recently given one
of the highest honours possible for a female college player
in America for the third time, something that continues
to inspire her. But there is more on the radar
for this young baller. So much so
that she’s caught some attention, with some calling her
the female Steven Adams. She’s ready to make her mark
on the WNBA. She urges for other aspiring ballers
