This year the university is celebrating 190 years of helping talented people from all walks of life to achieve their potential. The University of Central Lancashire is Preston, we are an integrated part of the city’s history and future as a social and economic anchor in the beating heart of Lancashire. Preston is the best place in the North West to live and work according to a recent report by PWC and the Think-tank, and is ranked 19th overall in the good growth for cities index measuring economic success and personal and family well-being. You leaving us as well-rounded graduates into your chosen career is our focus and currently over 93% are employed within six months of graduating. For those of you who are budding entrepreneurs, we are second in the UK for entrepreneurs with our graduates still running thriving businesses after three years.
