GAME IN THE SUPERDOME. SHAUN: UNBELIEVABLE. THANK YOU. THE NEW $28 BILLION STATE BUDGET HAS BEEN SIGNED. AND IS NOW LAW AHEAD OF THE START OF THE NEW FISCAL YEAR ON SATURDAY. THE BUDGET WAS ADOPTED BY LAWMAKERS IN A SPECIAL SESSION AFTER THEY FAILED TO REACH A COMPROMISE IN THE REGULAR LEGISLATIVE SESSION. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEARLY A DECADE, COLLEGES ESCAPED CUT STATE WORKERS WILL GET A PAY RAISE BUT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES , AND EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE GETTING SLASHED.
