Living on ASU’s campus: an international student from India | Arizona State University
I’ll be honest, I made my first friends here only in my dorms. Because when you first enter, you go to your dorms, you’re setting in everything, and I feel that the dorms in ASU are not just a place for nonacademic learning, but also hubs for social activity. I think it is way, way, way, more convenient to live on campus. I feel that the food over here is amazing. At each dining hall, we have different days. Sometimes it’s just like, they have the Asian center with all the Asian food, and they have the vegan section which has all the vegan food. Whether you’re a vegetarian, you’re a nonvegetarian, if you are vegan, or you want Chinese, you have everything right there. I think my first friend was my roommate, and then how we together took it forward and made so many other friends was so good, because these are the friendships you’re going to continue not only for four years, but the rest of your life.
