Kindness at UC Santa Barbara

Kindness at UC Santa Barbara

(upbeat music) – A random act of kindness that I experienced earlier this week was actually during my midterms. Somebody actually pulled out an entire roll of toilet paper and passed it around the entire classroom so that people wouldn’t have to worry about blowing their nose in the middle of a test. – An act of kindness usually on campus is that they always hold
doors open for people and all try to make
sure that they’re like, “Are you okay,” if they fall off bikes
or anything like that. – During finals week, I accidentally left my coffee cup from Starbucks laying around. I came back to the library two hours later and a girl actually kept it. So it was so nice for her to wait for me for two hours for her to return it. – I like to give random acts of kindness when I hold the door open for people. – A random act of kindness that happened was that yesterday someone gave me a rose and just told me to have a good day and that really made my day. – It’s not really a
random act of kindness, but I think Gauchos help each other out and are kind with one another by just doing little things
like helping each other out in classes and being supportive and just listening to one another I think is the way that Gauchos are all really, like, connected
and kind with each other.
