– Hello, my name is Xing Dai
and my English name is Daisy. I’m from Guangzhou, China. I decided to come to
Santa Rosa Junior College, it’s because I grew excited about English when I was in high school. And to come to United
States to study is my dream. When I studied chemistry, I realize, chemistry provides me
lots of opportunities and I fall in love with chemistry. Santa Rosa Junior College
is very good school. They have good academic environment. They have lots of good programs and good professors who’d help you to transfer from a junior college
to a four-year university. My goal is to transfer from
Santa Rosa Junior College to a four-year university and now I get accepted
to four universities. They are UC Berkeley, UC Los Angeles, UC Davis, and UC Santa Barbara. I selected UC Davis because of two reasons. The first is, in SRJC,
there’s a transferring center. They took me to UC Davis for a field trip and I liked the academic
environment there. The second reason is, UC Davis,
they provide me scholarship that could help me with my tuition. If you’re considering to come
to the United States to study, I highly recommend you to come to the Santa Rosa Junior College. It’s not only a great
academic environment, but also, all the professors
and faculties there were helpful and friendly,
and it’s a beautiful campus and I think you will like it here.
