Are you a Leave No Trace camper? Take the Camp Oh No! Challenge. Check out this campsite –
what would you do to make it more Leave No Trace? Stay tuned to see if you found
everything. How’d you do? Let’s check it out.
We love wild flowers but no one loves a TP bloom. Pee far away from your
campsite and put toilet paper in the trash can. Animals will investigate
anything with the smell so keep your food and other items that smell stored
safely away from wildlife – that goes for your trash too. Food and trash in a
campfire hardly ever burn all the way down and the scent attracts animals. Plus
would you want a campfire this close to your tent?
Washing yourself and your dishes in the stream might get you cleaned up but soap pollutes the water and it can harm aquatic creatures. Tents can kill plants
so set up your tent on bare dirt when you can. We think nature’s pretty neat
but even rocks can be shelter for wildlife so it’s best to leave things
where you find them. Not everyone loves the same music so be a good camp
neighbor and keep the volume low. Do you teach Leave No Trace? Click on the link below see how you can set up your own Camp Oh No camp Oh No You know you can just deflate that … Hey … hey, Matt – time to film!
