How to Submit a Graduate Application Online

Welcome to the School of Graduate
Studies application webpage. Here you will find step-by-step instructions on
how to apply to the School of Graduate Studies at Memorial University. So let’s
get started, first decide when you want to begin your studies at Memorial, check
the relevant deadlines here before filling out your application. Next, you’ll
need to collect all required application materials for your graduate application,
they are listed under step 2. Finally submit your online application and
supporting documents. If you are a returning student you will need to login
to your self-service and click on admission to start a new application. If
you are a new student applying to the School of Graduate Studies you’ll need
to create an account, create your own application login and PIN. Once you enter
your email address and click submit you will receive a verification email, click
the link to verify your email and you’ll be directed back to the admissions login
page. To login click the down menu and select graduate program, click continue,
next you’ll select the admission term if you are applying for Fall 2017
you will select 2017-2018 Fall, click fill out application. Next you will fill
out the application checklist make sure you fill out your name, permanent address
personal information, citizenship/ residence and next-of-kin information.
Next-of-kin can be your parent, spouse or guardian in case of emergency this
person will be contacted. Next add your academic information, depending on your
level of study you may have more than one entry make sure you include all
entries for the application. Next fill out the prerequisite
information section make sure you check the admission requirements of your
program to determine if this section is required. Next enter your referees
information. Next you will fill out the statement of interest section make sure
you fill out all the sections applicable to your program of interest, indicate
your program of study by selecting either full-time or part-time studies
and select your area of interest from the top down menu then click next. If you
are an international applicant select the English proficiency exam you took
from the top down menu, next enter your resume in the space provided once
finished click continue. Next if you wish to be considered for financial
assistance answer yes to the following question your eligibility for funding
will be assessed with your application. Finally, fill out the special
circumstances section if it is applicable to you. Check that you have
filled out all the sections correctly click submit application, you will be
