How to apply for residence at Brock University If you’re planning on staying in residence
at Brock University this Fall, the application deadline is quickly approaching. We are happy to guarantee residence to all
new students coming directly from high school in Canada attending full-time the preceding
academic year and to new students with no prior post-secondary experience whose primary
residence is outside of Canada. Brock must receive both your residence application
and fee prior to the deadline. So now you’re probably wondering how to apply
for residence. Good news. It’s super simple. First, visit your my.brocku.ca student portal,
and log in using your Campus ID and password. If you haven’t activated your student portal
yet, use your student number or Campus ID to do so. These can be found on either the email you
received after applying to Brock, or on your offer of admission On the Applicant and Student Self Serve page,
click on the Apply for Residence link on the right hand side. First, you’ll need to update your personal
information, and after that, you can start the residence application. Just follow the badger at the top of the screen
and go through all the steps. You’ll rank your residence style and room
type preferences, indicate whether you’d like to live in a Living Learning Community, and
make note of any medical or special concerns. You’ll also have a chance to identify your
gender and room assignment preferences, request shared accommodation with your friends, and
select a meal plan. Make sure to review your application as you
go, as making changes after submitting it can be difficult. If you have any issues filling out the residence
application, you can visit brocku.ca/residence for troubleshooting tips. To complete your application, click the red
Submit button at the bottom of the page on step 8, and you’ll receive confirmation through
your Brock email address. And, you’re done! Well, almost. The final step is to pay your residence application
fee. Remember – the residence guarantee only applies
if Brock receives your application AND application fee by the deadline. Here are your options. You can pay through a bank or credit union,
over the Internet, phone, or ATM, which will take approximately 2 business days You can pay in person at a bank or credit
union, which will take approximately 5 business days. You can also mail a cheque to Brock University,
but that can take 10 or more business days. Long story short, if you want to get your
application and application fee to Brock before the deadline, don’t wait until the last minute. If you have any questions, you contact us
by email, phone, or online.
