Graduation Advice for the College of Natural Resources Class of 2017

Graduation Advice for the College of Natural Resources Class of 2017

And this is the last advice I’ll be giving
anyone, anytime. And my advice, as many of you know, is to
be optimistic. The world is a better place today than it
was yesterday, and it will be a better place tomorrow than it is today. My advice for the CNR graduates is to start
building your mentoring networks. So, a mentor is really anyone who you trust,
who can provide guidance, advice and connections. I’ll just say that just because you’re graduating,
don’t think the learning stops here. So, that’s really my first piece of advice–to
keep learning, because you’ll find that this is where learning really begins. Graduates, my one greatest piece of advice
is to go out there and be the best ‘you’ you can be. Don’t be afraid, and take on new challenges. You can change the world. Well congratulations to the Class of 2017. And remember–go Wolfpack! Congratulations graduates–go Pack! I wish you all the best, and go Pack! Congratulations graduates–go Wolfpack!
