Does JCU Fit You? – John Cabot University
I was really just looking for an adventure, a new way of seeing things. I always wondered why birds stay in the same place
when they could travel anywhere else in the world and then I asked myself the same question. I wanted a different experience. I want to slow down and enjoy life. Rome is an outdoor city. Most campuses have a common area,
but here in Rome we have “la piazza.” You’re sitting in, interacting with thousands of years of history. It gives context to why you study something, and it’s the perfect place
to interact with the ancient city. I landed a great summer internship through JCU’s Career Services Center. The chance to get real-world experience was amazing
and it’s given me so much confidence. I ended up transferring to John Cabot University because I found that not many schools offer the program
that I want to get into a as a stand-alone major. Being in the heart of Europe is a perfect place for me
to watch international relations unfold in the real world. Majoring in history, I knew that Rome would be the perfect place for me. The combination of discussion-based classes together with on-site classes really gave me the full experience that I was after. All right, thanks folks. My name is Professor Michael Driessen. This is PL 321 War, Peace and Conflict Resolution. Welcome back to John Cabot University.
