COLLEGE MOVE-IN VLOG 2019 | THE CAMPUS KNIGHTS

August 30, 2019 3 By Stanley Isaacs

– Hey, YouTube. Or well, I should say,
hey, oh Knight Nation. My name is Jeremy, one of your
UCF Social Media Ambassadors, and more formally well-known
as The Tea on the Internet. It looks like they’ve let me take over the main channel today. So you may be wondering
why things are looking a little on the empty side here right now, and that is because I’m
the process of moving out so I can move in to my
dorm at UCF this weekend. You’ll be coming along
with me as I take you through the ins and
outs of move-in at UCF. Let’s get started. Hey, yo, Knights, comin’
at you mockumentary style. Here we are in my laundry
room because everything is currently in my living room. We’re about to load the car, get the whole trunk packed or whatever, because that is not something
you wanna do with the day of because it is a lot harder
than you think it is. So, let’s get this started. A few moments later. And we’re off to take the last
piece of my dorm to the car. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I bought a tree from
Ikea, her name is Mary. No further questions. Huh, Mary’s in and well, my car is packed. Phew, all right, well we did that, and I’m just gonna say this. I only started going to the
gym second semester last year, and that was too late, because that tested the
strength that I do not have. But now that everything
is packed and ready to go, I’ll catch you guys tomorrow morning when we leave to head back to Orlando. So catch you guys then. Good morning, Knights. It is currently 8 o’clock
on a Saturday morning, and I am exhausted, but that is fine. Today we are going to be leaving the house and back on our way to O-town. So I’m very excited for that. (upbeat electronic music) Good morning, Knights. I am walking to Hercules right
now, on our way to check in. For those of you don’t know
how this process works, what you’re gonna wanna do is once you get to your housing community, go to your check-in location
with your student ID. And if you don’t have one
yet, they will accommodate. But you’re gonna wanna go do that so that your ID will unlock your door, so you can go through take a look at it before you start moving everything in. All right, UCF, I just
got back from check-in, and they give you a
little bit of information. So you’ll get your room
number, your PO box number. You’ll get your pin for your ID key. They’ll tell you who your RA is, and you’ll probably get
to meet them, I met mine. And now I’m about to
head into my actual dorm, so we’re gonna see what
we’re working with here. As you can see, the walking in I’ve got a bed over (mumbles). I’ve got my desk right here. And there’s a little storage
thing over on this side. My closet area has storage at the top, like the little hangar area. And then a dresser down here. And because it’s the apartment style, there’s four private bedrooms. And we’re gonna fix the room
after we go unload the car. We, oh my god, okay. I’m terrified for this. We’re goin’ down hill. Oh, god, oh, god. ♪ Goin’ down hill ♪ Woo, hey, yo Knights. I’m lookin’ real sweaty and
after all that hot messery you just witnessed, I’m happy to say that we successfully managed to
get everything into my room. Ooh, I need a whole nap after that. Yeah, she’s lookin’ real pretty right now. So, in order to spare you guys the time that it’s going
to take me to get together, I will come check with
you guys in a little bit. Got my clothes in, got my refrigerator and all my pass holder magnets together. And just a quick little
hack if you guys are looking for storage and stuff. If you get one of these things right here. I got mine from Ikea just
like to closet hangar, it’ll help maximize the
space that you have. And I also have one in one
of these drawers over here for my socks and such. If you’re wondering
about storage and stuff, those are my little tips to you. I wanted to show you some my decorations, kind of give you what the theme is so you’ll understand when it’s all up. So it’s very artsy
theater Broadway-like ish. So as you can see here, we
have like a movie clapper. We’ve got my face on a playbill
that my mother made for me. And then some other cute little things. So I live in the Hercules
community, so of course, I have to go all Hercules
(mumbles) movies. So of course that’s gonna go up, and this cute Happily Ever After poster that I got from Etsy. Just you know all really nice things that’ll look nice on my wall. So I will check in with you
guys once I have everything up and I have a final reveal
prepared for everyone. All right, Knights, just
like on MTV, this is my crib. But yeah, so here we
go, here’s what we got. So this is where my bed is. I got my UCF, go Knights (mumbles) on. We’ve got my little Broadway theater, entertainment kind of stuff up here. It’s all black and gold, so love that. Starting sophomore season. That’s what we call, that’s what us sophomores call this year. My playbill’s up there. Got my golden Mickey to
tie everything together. Over here we have my Disney wall, because I’m a huge Disney nerd, and had to get it all together. I’ve got my table here, more
black and gold stuff going on. I have this little cute starlet, Edison star lamp that I have. This board, Minor Disaster
The Musical Season 3. My desk with my little
Stitch note card holder. I’ve got my little lamp that
I bought, my IKEA stuff, the tree, which is named Mary. And then my dune buggy from Disney. And then my mirror is over there. Hello, everyone. And then all my stuff is
chillin’ in my closet over here. We got all my stuff hung up. Everything is j-chillin’ in here. And then this is my favorite drawer, because with me being on-brand as The Tea, all of my tea supplies
are in this top drawer instead of having clothes in here. So that’s pretty on-brand for me. Well, Knights, that just
about wraps up this video. I hope you guys enjoyed
coming along with me on my move-in journey,
and all the shenanigans. If you guys have any questions
about move-in at all, feel free to drop it
