– Oh my god! – (gasps) AHH, NO! I can’t! No!
(nails scraping) ♪ (industrial intro) ♪ – (FBE) Today, we’ve got
a Try Not To challenge for you. – Okay.
– Oh, no! I’m so bad at these. – (FBE) It’s actually a challenge
we’ve never done before on this channel.
– Ooh. – Oh, [bleep].
What is it? – (FBE) This is going to be a Try Not
to Take Off Your Headphones Challenge. – (gasps) No, no! I really don’t
wanna do this. – What could you make us listen to
that would make us take off our headphones? – (FBE) So here are the rules.
If you take off your headphones at any point, you’re out
for that video, but you’ll be back in
for the next video. You can’t pull the headphones
away from your ears, or slide one off,
or adjust the headphones at all during the video.
– You guys just wanna watch me suffer, don’t you? – (FBE) You ready to do this?
– Yeah, toss ’em on. (static)
– ♪ Silent night ♪ – (giggles) Why? – As a sound guy,
this is really awful. – It’s bad quality? Oh.
This doesn’t bother me… yet. – You’ve got to turn it up lou–
(volume increases) – ♪ Silent night ♪
– That bass. Oh my god. – Oh, it gets worse! – Is this gonna get sata–
I’m sorry if I’m screaming. – ♪ Son of God ♪
– I hate this. – ♪ Love’s pure light ♪
– Oh my goodness. – ♪ Radiant beams from… ♪
– I’m more annoyed at the low quality of this– oh my god, no! – This is terrible.
– ♪ Silent night ♪ – Nooo! – This is really painful. – This is an awful sound. – It’s awful, but it’s tolerable. – I’m just trying to pretend
it’s a metal song. – This is like when you’re driving
and you know your radio station isn’t gonna pick up clear at all,
but you still listen to it. – ♪ …Alleluia ♪
– (groans) – That was hard.
– Okay, that was bad. – That was easy.
It was just kinda slightly annoying. – I started off strong,
and it kind of progressively got louder, and I just
couldn’t think properly. (chuckles) – What is it? ♪ (loud hip hop music blasts) ♪ – ♪ Gotta get that ♪
– Oh my god. Is this the Black Eyed Peas? – ♪ Gotta get that, that,
that, that, that ♪ ♪ Boom, boom, boom ♪
– Oh my god! – Eww! No! – ♪ Boom, boom, boom ♪
– (laughs) – (laughs) – ♪ Gotta get that ♪

– That was insane. – That was very hard,
’cause it was more audio garbage. – Imagine being the person
that filmed that. Imagine his ears.
– I hate this. I’m gonna win.
I just am very discomforted by this. (nails scraping)
– OH! No, no, no, no, no! (nails scraping)
– Ugh. (nails scraping)
– (chuckles) Stop. Stop. (nails scraping)
– Nope, no! No, no, no, no, no. No, no.
(buzzer) – (gasps) AHH, NO! I can’t! No!
(nails scraping) I knew that was gonna happen!
(buzzer) (nails scraping)
– NOO! No, I hate this noise so much!
No, I literally– no, no. I hate that. I’m not listening to that.
(buzzer) (nails scraping) – I just can’t with that noise.
(buzzer) (nails scraping) – It’s really not that bad. – I did not like that. – That was a hard no. – That one was pretty hard. I almost reached for them,
but I’m like, “No.” – I do this to other people.
They get pissed off with me, but I’m like (laughs triumphantly). (loud squishing)
– Oh, no. – This is so uncomfortable. – Oh! Oh my god!
(laughs) Eww! EWW! – I’ma throw up. I’ma throw up,
but I’ma keep the headphones on. – (gags) I can’t–
I can’t take this. Jesus Christ. (loud squishing)
– Yeah, that’s not too terrible. – What is that?
Is that mac and cheese? – I’m just pretending
this is water droplets and relaxing. – It’s like if a dog
was drinking water right next to my ear. – How long is this video? (loud squishing intensifies)
– Oh my god! That last little bit
was disgusting. (laughs) – I make this sound
to bother people. (imitates squishing noise) – (exhales slowly) That was tough. – Strangely more uncomfortable
than the other ones. It just felt like I was listening to something
I wasn’t supposed to hear. – (people) Who’s that Pokemon? – Pokemon? – (people) It’s–
– (announcer) JOHN CENA! – (people) It’s–
– (announcer) JOHN CENA! – (people) It’s–
– (announcer) JOHN CENA! – Oh my gosh! – (people) It’s–
– (announcer) JOHN CENA! – (chuckles) – Eh. This one’s not that bad. – Oh my god.
The bass is so bad. – It’s loud that’s for–
It’s loud. – ♪ You can’t see me ♪
♪ My time is now ♪ ♪ It’s the franchise ♪
♪ Boy, I’m shining now ♪ – I actually kind of
enjoyed that a little bit. – I liked the John Cena song,
so that one was just loud. – It’s just the initial scare
of it is kind of a lot. It’s loud and it’s annoying,
but I can listen to it if I need to. – (Nella) Try it. See how it sounds. – Why are you bringing
Star Trek into this? – I don’t like this.
I don’t like where this is going. ♪ (screeching flute music) ♪ – HOOO! That woke me up! God. Holy sh– ho! – Eww!
– Ahh, this hurts! ♪ (pitch increases) ♪ – No. That’s–
I don’t like screeching noises. That’s the worst for me.
(buzzer) – Ugh! (laughs uncomfortably) ♪ (screeching flute music continues) ♪ (music stops)
– (Nella) It’s beautiful. – (chuckles) No, it wasn’t. – I don’t know
how I survived that. – That was a good one.
(sucks in breath) Yeah. – I always try to avoid
screeching noises at all costs. So I wasn’t gonna
willingly listen to them. – (retches)
– Oh, no! Oh, no. – AHH, NO! (laughs) That was so mean.
(buzzer) – (retches) – We don’t need to vomit today.
(buzzer) – (chuckles) – That’s so gross. – (retches)
– That sucks. – We’ve all been there.
I’m so sorry, dude. – (retches)
(vomit splattering) – You know, this just sounds
like The Walking Dead. – Ew! I just– ew, I can’t!
(buzzer) – (retches)
– Oh my god! (laughs) – That one wasn’t that bad.
Throw-up doesn’t get me. – It’s not really the sound.
It’s more seeing it and smelling it that gets to me. – I personally hate the feeling
of throwing up. So just seeing other people do it,
it reminds me of how bad it is. – I can’t deal with things
that make me sick. Maybe I could deal with creepy
better than I can deal with body insides getting outside. – You won.
– Yay! It was actually
really intense, surprisingly. – I love these ones,
the one where it’s, like, try not to look away,
try not to– the gross ones. I’m [bleep] good at those ones. – I think that it’s a really good idea but maybe even
just turn up the volume a little bit higher. – These challenges are fun,
’cause people can participate with us. – It’d be a fun challenge to watch,
but not to do. So I’m excited to watch this video
and see other people, but I don’t know
