So good evening everyone and welcome to the graduation award ceremony and dinner for our inaugural class of 2018. All of you have worked so diligently for the past four years you’ve gone through exams and OSCEs and IRATs and TRATs and ICATs and IDATs and only they know what that is. Only you know because you’ve been through it. Every single one of us in our class has so unique qualities. We all come from so many different cultures. I was actually counting it out. Did you guys know we have 22 different countries as a part of our inaugural class? Thank you very much everybody. I appreciate it, I wasn’t expecting this at all, I wasn’t prepared for a speech today. As much as you feel that I inspired you, you guys have done just as much for me. So I like to thank you guys. Oh, this is, in my whole life, the highest honor for me. So I was thank you all my classmates. You’re awesome. Okay, usually when I have a speech I’m prepared, but I wasn’t prepared for anything because I didn’t expect anything. But I really appreciate everything and thank you and all I can say is thank you. Honestly lot of students at CHSU is very good at Being pertinent, on time and just pulling their responsibility, accountability and the end of day a lot of the students that I see at CHSU are great leaders so to be chosen for this award. Thank you a lot. Thank you for nominating me for this award. We all try our best to give back to the community. It’s very humbling to see the next generation of graduates enter the professional world. We need you. This community needs you. This country needs you. It’s an honor to give this award out from one immigrant to this beautiful country to another. Only in America. Only in America can those dreams be realized. I came as an immigrant to pursue my dreams. In this country. It’s a great privilege for me to stand here on behalf of the California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy inaugural class. We did it and we did it all together. But you should not forget – we do we do not have to stop here because every end has a new beginning. We all should be very proud of ourselves. That we could overcome all those barriers and challenges. And and knowledge we are ready to serve our country, that is the greatest Democratic country in the world, the country that was founded by immigrants, the country that you can pursue any opportunity regardless of your sex, regardless of your race, regardless of your religious. There will be moments that each of us will think and we feel that oh, we are alone, but no we are not alone. We all are together. We started together. We should go forward together. So let’s be the best in the pharmacy profession and make CHSU proud of us. Let’s raise our glasses to toast a College of Pharmacy inaugural class of 2018. Congratulations to you all! [Cheers]
