Chaminade University Campus Tour
Aloha and welcome to Chaminade University of Honolulu. Founded in the spirit of Marianist traditions, our campus embodies the true meaning of a community of equals. You’ll find a strong sense of family spirit and discover that service, justice, peace, adaptation and change are all part of your education. Clarence T.C. Ching Hall is the heart of our campus. It’s where you can go for advice, to find out about opportunities in the community around the world, and take steps towards your future career. It’s not always business here though, in the Student Center there are countless opportunities for you to get involved, you could join a club or even start your own, you can meet up with friends for a game of pool, have a movie marathon, come to a trivia night or any number of other social events. When attending class, you’ll never find a sea of unfamiliar faces, or be packed into a lecture hall; classes are small, usually fewer than 20 students and even on your walk to class you’ll see someone you know. Inside our classrooms and special facilities, experiential learning is taking place across disciplines, so whether you want to learn how to saves lives in the medical field through life-like patient care scenarios, learn the ins and outs of the world of business, study mock crime scenes and protect and serve your community, create beautiful, functional and environmentally friendly spaces, or learn how to influence future generations of innovators, your classes will be fun and engaging, professors will be accessible and you’ll work together both inside our classrooms and in the community in ways that really prepare you for your career. You’ll experience times when you step outside of your comfort zone and try something you never thought of before. You’ll spend days volunteering and helping the greater Honolulu community. And when you’re in Sullivan Family Library you’ll not only be studying theories you’ll also be building friendships to last a lifetime. There will be moments when the entire campus comes together to celebrate our unique heritage. Through discovering yourself at Chaminade, you’re also becoming a citizen of the world on one of the most diverse campuses in the nation. So if this sounds like the place for you we invite you to come and visit us and experience the campus for yourself.
