(calm music) – My name is Bernard Gomes, and I’m Calcutta, India. I am majoring in psychology
and minoring in neuroscience. I chose Brooklyn College, first of all, because it’s very affordable, and I liked how well-rounded it was. You have different kinds of
opportunities, you make friends, and you get research opportunities. The professors, the faculty is great, and this was the best
place for me to come. And let’s not forget that it’s
a really beautiful campus. That’s what really appeals to me. My favorite experience is
definitely joining the clubs and making friends and how they have given me different experiences. I get to go to California for free for a research presentation. Definitely the research opportunities that our professors gave so far to me. That was great. I would definitely like to give advice. When you come here,
definitely go talk to people, because that’s where you make connections. I know sometimes it can get lonely because we’re international students, but once you make friends
and once you join clubs and you have all these responsibilities, you will get so much exposure and people will definitely
be there to help you. But you have to get
yourself known out there. (calm music)
