Academic Programs at LCSC
Academic Programs My name is Sierra Hill.
I’m from Hilo, Hawaii and my major is radiology. I chose to come to LCSC
because they had my radiology program, which is a
pretty rare program. Most of my professors are
really nice. They really know what they’re
talking about and know the subject they’re teaching. Radiology is not an easy field. You have to know all this
anatomy and physiology stuff. I feel like the faculty and
staff here are pushing us. The campus here is really nice. I really like how most of the
buildings are made from brick. It kind of gives it this
historical feel. Everything is close, so you
can walk everywhere and that’s really nice. There is small classrooms
and we have the top technology in order to learn how to do
what we’re going to be doing. I really like the people here.
They’re very friendly. We have this thing back home
called the ‘Aloha Spirit’ and I feel like the people here
really have that ‘Aloha Spirit.’ When I think of the Warrior Way,
I think of a warrior. And warriors need to fight. You’re going to have a lot of
challenges here at school. You know, it’s college. But you’re going to have to
fight through them in order to succeed and to get where
you want to go in your career goals.
