DOUG: This has been the toughest fight I have
ever been in, but with the strengths of the man that has been reborn with himself and
in Christ, I will win this fight. DEREK: First and foremost, I’d like to thank
God for giving me a second chance at life and for guiding me here to AFR. Uh, this program
is absolutely amazing. I don’t think there’s a single person in the world – addict or not
– that wouldn’t gain something from coming here and going through this program. SEAN: To the staff, I don’t wanna single anybody out because you all mean so much to me. Everybody came here with a smile on their
face and really cared. JAMES: I kinda wanna thank everybody, there’s
not a single person that hasn’t changed my life here, and, uh, I really just love
you all and I really won’t forget why I came here and when you have all impacted me
in my life. JEFF: I wanna thank my peers, like, I wouldn’t
be here today if it wasn’t for all you guys. You guys really— you helped me get to the
point where I am spiritually, mentally. JOHN: It does get better, just hang in there,
do what you’re told, and everything will go by smooth. Feels like yesterday I was in
detox and time flies, you know? TONYA: Never give up, it’s tough in the
beginning, I’m not gonna lie. But once you start seeing the change in yourself, it really
is an awesome feeling and it does get easier. JOE: Pam, thank you, I really appreciate it,
I got hope now.
