A Day in the Life of a UCLan Graduate : Ryan

Hello, my name’s Ryan and tomorrow I will be graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Television Production. Just really excited really, really wanna get the gown on, get all the cheesey photos, you know, throwing the hat in the air, all of that kind of stuff, see all my mates you know, just celebrate with them, party with them. I did get to see a bit of graduation today, just because I was walking in that general direction, but everyone just looked like they were in really high spirits, it looked like a really good time. And it’s the first time they’ve ever held graduation on campus, so I’m really excited to see what they’ve done, I’ve tried to not look at the livestream, and not spoil the surprise for me. And I’m really excited just to see how it turns out I think it’s gonna be a really really lovely day. It does feel really early, but it’s like eight, which is just when I normally get up. And I’ve got two hours – ish to get ready, get breakfast, delivered, I think. And it doesn’t feel like long enough but once I wake up it’ll be fine. That was like, the quickest shower of my life. I feel like I’m really rushed, but, I know I’m not I’ve not even got anything to do, I’ve just got to have my breakfast, iron my shirt and I’ve put one of these on aswell, I think it might be on the wrong way, but that’ll just make me look absolutely stellar in the photos. It’s here This is the first time I’ve ever had anything delivered to Preston, in my whole three years I’m having two dilemmas this morning. Firstly, I can’t find the tie that I was gonna wear. I do have another one but I’m not sure I like it as much The original one was just gonna be like, red, but this one’s like, flowers? I dunno, I quite like it but it’s not like the, UCLan red that I was going for. The second issue is look at this! Tan line. Really worried about not doing my hair right aswell, but, I suppose we have got the caps, so I could just slick it back and have a massive five head. Anyway, I think I’m gonna get ready now, So I will see you in a minute. It’s actually quite exciting, everyone’s obviously in a happy, party kinda mood. I’m a bit nervous about tripping up on the stage ‘cos everyone’s been making jokes about it and if anyone does it it’s gonna be me but, I am really looking forward to it. (Crowd cheer) It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be, I was a bit nervous going up, thought they might read my name out wrong, got quite lucky. Holding my hand out for about three hours before I got to the lady But it was nice, and I get to keep the hat! Which I’m gonna wear to work tomorrow! Really proud that’s three years of really hard work and now you’ve got something to prove for it.
